AN RPI STUDENT VOTES at Troy High School on Tuesday as voters across the country went to the polls. As of press time, all the districts for Troy had reported their results, although absentee and affidavit ballots and write-in votes were not yet reflected. The tentative results showed that the Troy City Council At-Large seats were won by Republicans Majorie Mahar Dergurahian and Henry Bauer, and Democrat Clement Campana. In Troy’s district—which includes RPI—the tentative results showed incumbent William Dunne as the victor. Incumbent Republican Kathleen Jimino ran unopposed for County Executive as did Republican Frank Merola for the office of County Clerk. In one of the more watched elections in the county, Democrat Robert Jacon beat Republican District Attorney Patricia DeAngelis in the race for the County Court Judge position.
