Saturday, October 15

• West Hall

Grand Larceny: An LCD TV was stolen from room 107; forwarded to investigations.

Monday, October 17

• Off Campus

Attempt to Locate: Individual reported that a female student had not attended class in a week and her cell phone was found in a taxicab; an investigation ensued and the student was found to be in a hospital in another state.

• College Avenue

Forcible Touching: Student reported that she was on College Avenue and a white male with red hair, approximately 5’8” approached her and asked the time; the student advised the male of the time and he asked her if she could read his watch and when she attempted to help him; he made an inappropriate contact. The suspect, traveling with a group of friends fled the area.

• Student Union

Suspicious Person: Student stated a suspicious person had been hanging around the Student Union; DPS responded and interviewed the subject and discovered that he is an alumnus who utilizes the Union for Computer hook-up and eats dinner there on a regular basis.

Wednesday, October 19

• North Hall

Fire Report: Honeywell in­dicated an alarm; the cause was burnt popcorn.

• E-Lot

Petit Larceny: Unknown per­son(s) stole a fire extinguisher and First Aid from a parked construction bus.

• Student Union

Petit Larceny: Unknown person(s) stole a First Year Experience Banner that had been outside the Shelnutt Gallery.

• Mueller Center

GDA: Student reported the driver of a Dodge Intrepid was operating the vehicle in a reckless manner and almost struck them; forwarded to DOSO for review.

Thursday, October 20

• Mueller Center

Grand Larceny: Student reported backpack taken from a cubby area at the Mueller Center; student later called back and stated she had located her backpack.

• Off Campus

Sexual Assault: Student reported that while walking on Georgian Terrace towards campus, she was attacked by a male; Troy Police Department and Public Safety are investigating the incident.

Friday, October 21

• Sage Avenue

Disorderly Conduct: Students reported two unknown males drove by them in a white 1988 Chrysler LeBaron and yelled a disparaging remark. Follow-up is being conducted.

• VCC

Petit Larceny: Student stated he parked his vehicle outside the VCC on Thursday night and discovered Friday morning that unknown person(s) stole an almost-full tank of gasoline out of the vehicle.

• Cassatt

Agg. Harassment: Student reported she is getting un­wanted emails from another person; forwarded to DOSO for review.

• Off Campus

Welfare Check: Rensselaer County 911 contacted this department in reference to a welfare check off campus; TPD and DPS responded to the location; DPS made proper notifications.
