As the team captains of the most rowdy crew of gentlemen at good ol’ RPI, we were deeply offended by last week’s letter to the editor written by Robert Otlowski. In response, we would like to ask Otlowski a few questions. Where were you on the night of Saturday, October 1, when, at the annual Red & White Hockey scrimmage, upwards of 40 Go Be Red participants donned their red and white clothes and face paint and cheered wildly? Where were you, Robert, when our men’s soccer team stood and applauded their audience for singing the national anthem, or when a Union JV football player could not handle the non-stop heckling from the stands and threw water at us (and inadvertently drenched one of his own fans)? Well, we guess the real question is: Have you ever been to a Rensselaer athletic event and showed your alleged school pride? Otlowski, stop crying about your loss to Max Yates by attacking his initiative and start supporting your alma mater. Go go go you red red red!
