Freshman Nathan Marsters was named the CCM ECAC Rookie of the Week based on his play this past weekend. Marsters stopped 42 shots, a season high, while defeating Vermont 4-1, before making 36 saves against Dartmouth and losing 2-1. In all, Marsters derailed 78 of the 81 shots he faced.
This marked the fifth time that the ECAC has honored Marsters as either the Rookie of the Week or as the Goaltender of the Week. For the season Marsters has a 9-7-0 record with a 2.45 goals against average and a .919 save percentage.
