Caffe Lena holds the Battlefield Band. This group starts playing at 7 pm and the cost is $22.

The Egg presents Alonzo King’s Lines Ballet: “Before the Blues.” With their brilliant dancers and unusual collaborations, this San Francisco company livens up the stage with their jazz. Event begins at 8 pm and prices $24 for adults, $20 for seniors, and $12 for children.

Revolution Hall hosts the band Project/Object which will perform music of Frank Zappa. This show starts at 8 pm, and is 18 and over. The pre-order tickets are $15 and $17 at the door.

RPI alumni Jenn and Kevin McCoy, video/installation artists, lecture on “Learning to Watch.” They will discuss their work with video and the creation of meaning. This event is in West Hall Auditorium from 7:30-9 pm. General admission is $5 and free for those with a RPI ID.

B.B. King plays at the Palace Theatre. This legendary blues guitarist and singer comes to town. His opening act is a local favorite, Ernie Williams. Show begins at 7:30 pm with tickets starting at $39.50.

The RPI Ballroom gives a dance for all. Come and dance latin, swing, waltz for a couple of hours in ’87 Gym from 7-10 pm.
