As a part of the Women’s History Speaker series, RPI welcomes distinguished Professor and author Leonore Tiefere. Located in Sage 4101, this presentation begins at 3:30 pm and admission is free.
Department of Arts, iEAR, presents author and critic Anne-Marie Schleiner. Her works explore gender, sexuality, and politics in a male-dominated computer gaming culture. Admission is $5, and the event begins at 7:30 pm in West Hall Auditorium.
The New York Writers Institute host Mary Gordon, one of America’s most admired prose writers. Come and hear Gordon read from, and speak about, her bestselling novels. This event begins at 8 pm in the Recital Hall at the Performing Arts Center on the University at Albany’s campus. The event is free and open to the public.
Proctor’s Theatre stages the musical Oklahoma at 9 pm on March 9 and 10. The tickets range from $29.50 to $49.50. | |
