Thursday, January 11

• Pittsburgh Building
Larceny: Backpack with wallet containing credit cards was left unattended in room 01A and stolen between 6 and 10 pm.

• VCC
Larceny: Person left wallet at workstation for a few minutes. Wallet with credit cards and cash promptly stolen.


Friday, January 12

• Albright Court
Missing Person: Student reported roommate missing for past two days. Subject returned later that same date.

• G-Lot
Criminal Mischief: Person reported that his car door had been vandalized sometime over past three days.

Criminal Trespass Arrest: A former student accessing friend’s rooms without their consent was arrested for criminal trespass and criminal mischief.


Saturday, January 13

• Sage Avenue
Abandoned Vehicle: Damaged car left in roadway near damaged retaining wall. Vehicle towed from scene and tickets issued by Troy Police.

• Barton Hall
Assault Arrest: Former boy-friend assaulted female student in a domestic-related incident. Male arrested, victim refused medical attention.

• Davison Hall
Criminal Mischief: Fourth floor window smashed.


Sunday, January 14

• Nugent Hall
Larceny: Card reader valued at $1,000 stolen from south entrance.

• Mueller Center
Fire Alarm: Report of smoke within building. Building evacuated. Cause found to be electrical smoke from a motor unit. Repairs made.


Wednesday, January 17

• East of CII
Medical: Student fainted and collapsed. RPI Ambulance transported patient to hospital.


Thursday, January 18

• Main Campus
Accident: Person pulling out of parking space hit parked car. Insurance information ex-changed.

• North Hall
Burglary: Resident reported theft of jewelry from unlocked room on January 14.


Friday, January 19

• Cary Hall
Medical/Alcohol Related: 18-year-old student causing disturbance in his room found to be intoxicated. Troy Fire Department responded to provide medical attention. Judicial referral made.
