COMMUNITY MEMBERS LIGHT candles in memory of people they know whose lives have been affected by AIDS. The candle lighting was part of an interfaith memorial service entitled “Putting a Face to the AIDS Epidemic” held last Wednesday at the Chapel and Cultural Center. The event was sponsored by the Student Health Center and was held to commemorate the 17th annual World AIDS Day. The afternoon service followed the opening of a display of a memorial quilt held in the morning. The quilt was displayed at the C+CC from December 1 until December 6.
