In the past two weeks, the Interfraternity Council has met twice. The IFC would like to thank Acacia for allowing us the use of their house. I would like to remind everyone that this week we will be having a Presidents’ Meeting at Sigma Chi at 10 pm on Wednesday.
The Interfraternity Council has announced that it will be co-sponsoring a drag show philanthropy event with the Rensselaer Pride Alliance. Please check your chapter mailboxes in the Student Government Suite for an information flyer, and e-mail Elan Mendel at mendee@rpi.edu if you are interested in participating. More information will be available in the near future.
The Brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha will be holding their 13th annual North American Food Drive in late October. Donations will be accepted and all proceeds will go to the Troy Unity House. For more information please contact Justin Walraven at walraj@rpi.edu. I will be attending the Troy City Council Meeting this Thursday, October 7 at 7 pm in Troy City Hall—everyone is welcome to attend.
There will be an anti-hazing seminar in DCC 308 on October 12 at 8 pm. All chapters must send a minimum of 20 percent of their members.
