RPI HOSTED its annual Drill Meet and Military Excellence Competition last Saturday. Student cadets of the Air Force and Navy Reserve Officer Training Corps and midshipmen competed against peers from more than 19 colleges and universities. Among the other schools that participated were Cornell University, the United States Coast Guard Academy, and The Pennsylvania State University. The activities ranged from marching and drilling to basketball. The RPI team placed well in many events and placed first in both the Unarmed Sweepstakes and Flight Innovative competitions.
