High salary for talent

To the Editor:

I read your article about Dr. Jackson’s salary. If football coaches at public universities throughout this country can earn millions of dollars just for coaching football teams, Dr. Jackson, who has made significant improvements and expansions for the university, as well as a name for herself, should have such a salary. In fact, the salaries of all educators in this country are still too low for what they contribute as compared to what others in high- paid professions contribute to our society’s future. I say, “You go girl!”
