NHL turns up heat on midseason play

Robert Lang, Washington Capitals—Despite the Caps’ struggles, Lang has been stellar, with seven goals and seven assists in the month of November, including his first career hat trick against Carolina in a 7-1 victory.
Alex Tanguay, Colorado Avalanche—The current league scoring leader with a 7-18-25 line in 19 games, Tanguay also has eight points in his last five games, and celebrates his 24th birthday on Thursday, November 21.
Ladislav Nagy, Phoenix Coyotes—The Czech winger has eight points (5-3-8) in his last five games, pacing the Phoenix offense. | |
