Sheer Idiocy will continue its weekly improvisational comedy shows at Mother’s at 8 pm. E-mail sheeridiocy@rpi.edu for more information.
The Heffner Alumni House will host a public information meeting on the biotechnology center and other campus initiatives from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. For more information, call 276-6205.
The Department of Public Safety will conduct a defensive driving class in Blaw Knox from 5 pm to 8:30 pm. Participation in this class requires a second session on October 1. Registration is required, and the program will cost $35. Call Public Safety at 276-6990 to register.
An Academic and Research Computing short course titled “Introduction to Emacs” will be offered from 2 to 4 pm in JEC 3207. Registration is required. Call the VCC Help Desk at 276-7777 for more information or to register.
