Andrew Tibbetts/The Polytechnic STUDENTS WERE EVACUATED from sections of the Colvin part of the Rensselaer Apartment Housing Project (RAHP) Friday after a lightning bolt struck between two buildings. Fire alarms in that area had been offline after a truck clipped a phone wire backing up near the Fieldhouse Saturday, but campus IT crews had the lines back up in time. Parts of campus and Troy lost electricity after the strike, but power was quickly restored.
