First off, I want to congratulate all of the newly elected student officers, especially Mike and Suzanne. Although the GM Week weather wasn’t ideal, many groups pressed on to hold events in the bitter cold to bring us a fabulous GM Week—congratulations to all.

Alpha Gamma Delta held a 24-hour volleyball tournament, while Alpha Phi teeter-tottered outside the Union for 24 hours straight, and Pi Beta Phi entertained us with their Mr. RPI contest.

Panhel rewarded female greek scholars with exceptional GPA’s at their scholarship banquet on April 14. The Awards of Excellence banquet on April 26 will also recognize outstanding people as well as chapters and organizations in the greek community. The rest of the greeks will be gearing up for community clean-up days.

On a side note, hundreds of students crowded the McNeil room of the Union at the Accepted Student Celebration in order to solicit participation from the potential freshmen in their particular clubs and interests. It was a blast to watch, and the music was commendable as well.

Hope you all enjoy your Easter/Passover weekend, and try to enjoy the sun while we have it.
