As the end of the semester begins to stare us in the face, I’d like to wish you all the best of luck on your final exams, papers, projects, and homework. I know many of us are now focused on GM week. I’d like to stress for all you non-believers, that every vote counts, and that if you have an opinion, you should share it, so get out there and vote!

Along with the elections of the Grand Marshal, the President of the Union, and the rest of the Senate, GM Week holds added value to those of us that are greek. It’s a time for philanthropic events. Yes, that’s right, philanthropy. Alpha Gamma Delta is holding their annual 24-hour Volleyball Tournament April 4-6 to kick it off. Alpha Phi can be found outside the Union teetering away at the teeter-totter-a-thon on the April 8-9.

The week also holds many opportunities for sports and leisure. I can’t wait for powder puff football, as well as softball, and other spring-time sports. As a precursor to GM Week, Panhel will be holding our annual lip sync contest this Thursday night in the DCC from 7-8:30 pm, it’s only $3 to come and support us. Houses will also be gathering together Sunday afternoon to battle it out with other pledge classes. April 14, Panhel will be recognizing its outstanding scholars at the scholarship banquet.

Have a great week everyone!
