Design Your Future Day, an event hosted by RPI designed to interest women in science, technology, and engineering professions, was held this past Saturday. More than 300 high school young women were provided with lunch in the Armory while they listened to a panel of female graduates, led by Barbara Ruel, the director of the Women’s Mentoring Program at Rensselaer, discuss their experiences in these fields.
