Aggravated Harassment: Resident reported harassing phone call from an unknown person, bias-related.

• Barton Hall

Criminal Mischief: Computer monitor broken.

• Houston Fieldhouse

Larceny: Patron attending Counting Crows concert reported her wheelchair was stolen.

Saturday, October 5

• Sage Avenue

Domestic: Male reported assault by girlfriend, minor injury sustained but complainant declined medical attention.

• Upper Renwyck Field

Medical: Student injured hand playing rugby. RPI Ambulance transported patient to hospital.

Sunday, October 6

• Folsom Library

Harassment: One student cited harassment by another. Possible judicial action pending.

• Barton Hall

Larceny: Bike tire stolen from bike secured to exterior bike rack.

• Thompson House

Reckless Endangerment: Student and guest firing BB gun from window. Judicial action pending.

• Cook Drive

Attempted Robbery: Person reported three males drove up to him and one demanded money. Victim stated he had none and was punched by one suspect. Suspects left scene in an older model, gray, four door sedan.

Monday, October 7

• Sharp Lot

Property Damage: Side of parked vehicle damaged by a passing vehicle, information exchanged.

Tuesday, October 8

• Cook Drive

Criminal Mischief: Tent for shuttle bus passengers in B-lot vandalized.

• Prospect Park

Trespass: Several students arrested by Troy Police for trespassing in Prospect Park after hours.

• MRC Lot

Hit and Run: Vehicle parked in lot damaged by another vehicle.

• G-Lot

Hit and Run: Vehicle parked in VIC lot damaged by another vehicle.

• Willie Stanton Field

Medical: Student injured knee playing intramural football. RPI Ambulance transported patient to hospital.

• Robison Pool

Medical: Student injured hand playing intramural water polo. RPI Ambulance transported patient to hospital.

Wednesday, October 9

• Rensselaer Union

Hit and Run: Vehicle parked in Union lot damaged by another vehicle.

• Main Campus

Assault: Pedestrian expressed his annoyance at motorists’ excessive speed. Motorist, a student, stopped vehicle and punched pedestrian in face. Judicial action pending.

• West Hall

Fire Alarm: Person reported smoke from West Hall. Troy Fire Department responded and smoke identified as steam emanated from a broken steam line.

• Barton Hall

Medical: Resident sustained injury to face after striking hallway door frame. Troy Fire Department transported patient to hospital.

Tip of the Week: Avoid walking or running alone at night. Walk or jog with a friend.
