• Commons Lot

Harassment: Person reported having been verbally harassed by another individual earlier in the day.

• Folsom Library

Medical: Student with cardiac related concern. Refused medical attention.

• Folsom Library

Medical: Student who declined attention earlier reconsidered. RPI Ambulance transported patient to hospital for evaluation.

Tuesday, September 24

• Peoples Avenue

Burglary: Forded entry made into storage building and attempt made to steal equipment within.

• Nason Hall

Larceny-Unfounded: Resident reported theft of parts from his bicycle but they were later returned.

• Quad

Aggravated Harassment: Resident reported receiving harassing communications.

• Sage Avenue

Harassment: Student reported harassment by another student. Possible judicial action pending.

•’87 Gym

Larceny: Wallets with cash stolen from two unsecured lockers.

• Nason Hall

Burglary: Playstation stolen from unsecured room.

Wednesday, September 25

• North Hall

Fire Alarm: Report of smoke coming from roof of building. Found to be steam from vent.

• West Hall

Animal Complaint: RPI employee bit by dog inside building. No physical injury, owner on scene, dog’s shots found to be up to date.

• Warren Hall

Drug Paraphernalia: Student in possession of unauthorized materials. Judicial action pending.

• North Hall

Larceny: Victim of earlier burglary provided money to unknown person for its return. Suspect left with money and never returned.

Thursday, September 26

• 12th Street

Burglary: Resident sleeping heard someone come into apartment but assumed it was roommate. Later awoke to find three laptops and other items had been stolen.

• Harkness Field

Medical: Student hurt ankle while playing soccer. RPI Ambulance transported patient to hospital.

Saturday, September 28

• Anderson Field

Grounds for Disciplinary Action: Two students climbing on light pole. Possible judicial action pending.

Sunday, September 29

• Sage Avenue

Medical: Skateboarding student hurt shoulder, knees, and head. RPI Ambulance transported patient to hospital.

• Sage Avenue

Domestic Dispute: Two persons arguing in roadway.

• Harkness Field

Medical: Student playing soccer hurt elbow. RPI Ambulance transported patient to hospital.

• Folsom Library

Criminal Mischief: Bathroom door vandalized.

Monday, September 30

• Sunset Terrace

Animal Complaint: Unleashed dogs caused nuisance. Owner advised of local law.

• Colonie Apartments.

Aggravated Harassment: Resident reported receipt of harassing communications.

• Cook Drive

Larceny: Two pedestrian crossing signs stolen.

• Cary Hall

Medical: Resident jumping down stairway struck head and sustained laceration. RPI Ambulance transported patient to hospital.

Tuesday, October 1

• JEC

Criminal Impersonation: Student enrolled in course but provided false personal information. Judicial action pending.

• ’87 Gym

Criminal Mischief: Three padlocks cut off of lockers.

• Harkness Field

Medical: Student injured shoulder while playing soccer. RPI Ambulance transported patient to hospital.

Wednesday, October 2

• Greene Building

Medical: Student using razor knife cut finger. Medical attention refused.

• Colonie Apartments

Hit and Run: Parked car hit by unknown vehicle.

• JEC

Medical: Student sustained eye injury from metal shard while engaged in machine shop work. Troy Fire Department trans-ported patient to hospital.

• Sage Avenue

Assault: Student reported that an unknown male approached him, punched him in the head then kicked him after he fell to the ground. Suspect fled with approximately 11 other teenage males.

• Forsyth Drive

Hit and Run: Parked car hit by unknown vehicle.

Thursday, October 3

• Sharp Hall Lot

Medical: Non-student struck in nose by another person, declined filing complaint and refused medical attention.

• Wiltsie House

Burglary: Third floor suite entered between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm. Two laptops and one monitor stolen.

Friday, October 4

• Quad

Medical: Resident with unknown illness transported to hospital by RPI Ambulance.

Tip of the Week: Be alert and immediately report any suspicious persons or activity outside of the residence halls. Don’t leave the windows of unattended ground floor rooms open or unlocked at any time.
