Larceny: Bag with clothing left on doorknob, stolen from room.

Tuesday, August 20

• JEC Ramp

Larceny: Bike chained to railing stolen between 9:00 am and midnight.

• JEC Ramp

Larceny: Bike chained to railing stolen between August 19 and August 20.

• Thompson House

Larceny: Resident reported theft of digital camera and calculator from room between August 16 and August 20.

• North Lot

Larceny: CD player stolen from car between August 16 and August 20.

Wednesday, August 21

• Barton Hall

Criminal Mischief: Four students observed cutting down maple tree by Barton Hall. Judicial action pending.

• Beman Lane

Larceny: Resident reported that someone used his car overnight and stole a child’s car seat, a pocketbook, and the keys to the car and apartment. Pocketbook later found on Sunset Terrace minus all the cash.

• Cary Hall

Larceny: Bike secured with chain to exterior railing stolen between 9:00 pm the night before and 7:30 am the next day.

• VIC

Medical: Student reported continued swelling/pain to leg subsequent to a bee sting from the day before. RPIA transported patient to hospital for treatment.

• Harkness Field

Medical: Student with asthma transported to hospital by RPIA.

Thursday, August 22

• Albright Court

Burglary: Bike stolen from inside of apartment between11:30 pm and 9:30 am.

• Albright Court

Larceny: Unsecured bike at rear of building stolen between 2 am and 8:30 am.

• Cary Hall

Larceny: Bike secured w/cable lock stolen from exterior bike rack between 7 pm and 11 am.

• Cary Hall

Larceny: Bike secured w/padlock stolen fromexterior bike rack between August 19 and August 20.

• Lally Building

Larceny: Bike secured to bench w/cable lock stolen between August 16 and August 22.

Friday, August 23

• Union

Medical: Student complained of pain to head, possible concussion from an earlier injury off campus. Troy Fire Department transported patient to hospital.

Tip of the Week: Use a quality U-shaped bicycle lock when securing your bicycle. Chains, cables and standard locks are easily cut.
