Saturday, March 23

• Off Campus

Leaving the Scene: Student driving their car off campus struck a parked vehicle and left the scene. Troy Police are investigating.

Sunday, March 24

• Houston Field House

Medical: While skating, a ten year-old child sustained severe laceration to leg after colliding with another skater. Troy Fire Department transported patient to hospital.

Tuesday, March 26

• Ricketts Building

Burglary: Portable phone and charger stolen from room.

Wednesday, March 27

• New York State Center for Polymer Synthesis

Medical: Student with unknown illness. RPI Ambulance transported patient to hospital.

• BARH

Criminal Mischief: Card reader vandalized.

• Brinsmade Terrace

Medical/Investigation: Student sustained facial lacerations and burns to hands and face from an electric razor that exploded after being turned on. Razor had been found off campus in a fast food restaurant bathroom and brought back to RPI by victim. Troy Police and New York State Police investigating.

• Harkness Field

Medical: Student injured playing soccer. RPI Ambulance transported patient to hospital for treatment.

Thursday, March 28

• G-Lot

Medical: Student fell off bike and injured hand. Bicyclist taken to hospital by private vehicle.

• Colonie Apartments

Larceny: Stereo system and CD player stolen from car parked in lot overnight.

• Williams House

Grounds for Disciplinary Action: Student cited for disciplinary action due to his disorderly conduct. Judicial action pending.

 Friday, March 29

• BARH

Criminal Mischief: Fire extinguisher discharged in lobby area.

Tip of the Week: No matter where you are, if you’re going to leave your jacket unattended don’t leave your wallet or checkbook in the pockets.
